well, that's natural, innit. someone gets big because of...gasp...a trend! then another trend gets big and the now-established, no-longer-trendy artists get on a high horse and slag the new stuff. it's always hypocritical.

that said, i hate all trends and think techno peaked in the mid-1990s. ;)
