Default PAISLEY V FERGUSON: WHO'S THE GREATEST?

These relate to the number of times they won a trophy in relation to the number of years they took part. For example, Bob Paisley won the league in 67% of the seasons he was in charge.

    League Championships
    Paisley: 67%
    Ferguson: 42%

    FA Cups
    Paisley: 0%
    Ferguson: 28%

    European Cups
    Paisley: 43%
    Ferguson: 9%

    UEFA Cups
    Paisley: 100%
    Ferguson: 0%

    Cup Winners Cups
    Paisley: 0%
    Ferguson: 50%

    European trophies in total

    Paisley: 44%
    Ferguson: 13%

    League Cups
    Paisley: 33%
    Ferguson: 5%

    European Super Cup/World Club Champs
    Paisley: 33%
    Ferguson: 50%

    Charity Shields
    Paisley: 83%
    Ferguson: 45%

    Manager of the Year
    Paisley: 67%
    Ferguson: 37%

Using money as an indicator, only twice did Paisley break transfer records to buy players. Kenny Dalglish was a British record while Graeme Souness was a record between two English clubs.

Ferguson by comparison has broken the British record on many occasions in various categories.
