Who are they ??? well their acctualy one of the 12 founder members of the football leauge & after a million years out in the wilderness they are finaly poised to make a return to leauge status & i say yey to that
It was 1962 when Stanley were forced to resign from the leauge with financial difficulties but it it seems they are most famous for a little television ad back in the 80's where Ian Rush's insists that if you don't drink your milk you'll only be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley :lol:
Good luck Accy, i'm sure with their 16 point lead their gonna go up & as they are just 15 mins down the road from me i'm hoping that one day we might play them on an equal footing in the leauge
