the best example i can think of is both the b-sides on mastertraxx 001

some bits and bobs on patterns, arms, audio assault, punish etc (i'm not saying every tune mind) and other little labels
The b2 on the mastertraxx records is definetly quality! But the stuff you mentioned doesn't really have that kinda sound that cluster used to. It was just the simplicity, and the way the used the 909s in such a basic way, grimey mechanical stuff. Proper quality techno!
i know what your saying i guess they fill the slots in my sets these days that cluster used to. That kind of grinding industrialness. Don't get me wrong i don't think anyone will capture that classic cluster sound but i think theres plenty of other options out there these days to compete with it's niche as it were.
