Anyone know any good software for doing some scratches with, preferably one that doesn't involve any talent with the turntables :)
I'm thinking Fruity has some stuff built in, anything else?
thanks!

final sratch init??. get on the deck and cut like fuk on that mixer
turntablist Vst is free with computer music, it picks a sound and you can scratch it. this is if you wanna just record a scratch sound.
Yeah but final scratch clearly requires some deck talent :)
I'm after something that makes best use of my mouse skillz!

About half way down the page Loopdon has posted a scratch vst
Havent tried it myself but I think thats what it does.
Traktor dj 3 check it... nice you can fiddle with mouse, midi......
Traktor did it best in the end, tried just about all the suggestions above. In the end Traktor recorded from the PC live into Protools followed by a bit of beat detective in protools to tight it up and adding fader cuts with the mouse produced some very respectable results. Not quite as good as having a DMC champion in the studio but still damn good sounding.
