Voodoo has moved to the last Friday of every month from Friday 24th
February at Carling Academy Liverpool… An extra day’s recovery for the
return of the legendary Voodoo allnighters!!

In conjunction with legendary drum and bass night Metropolis, we kick
off our new residency on Friday 24th February with a head to head
techno/DnB/electro night featuring such heavyweights as Detroit minimal
maestro Robert Hood plays a semi live show, Laurent Garniers F-Comm
label present the Fcomm ‘Riot Tour’ with The Youngsters vs. Scan X (live
battle), Steve Shiels, Brendan Long, drum n bass in room 2 with Nicky
Blackmarket, Jumping Jack Frost, Bad Company, MCS, Prophecy & Sol!

The (in)famous Voodoo returned from the grave in October 2004,
following its closure in 2002. Starting in April 1993 at The Mardi Gras Club,
Voodoo quickly became THE underground event of the 90’s with it’s
anti-mainstream stance, pivoted on the highest quality techno, house &
‘acid house’ music & quite possibly the friendliest & maddest of
    atmospheres in the land!

Major events since it’s re-launch at Carling Academy have been Green
Velvet at Voodoo’s 11th Birthday (Oct 2004), Dave Clarke vs. DJ Rush
(Mar ’05), Voodoo vs. Metropolis Halloween Party, Voodoo 12th Birthday
with Underground Resistance, Miss Kittin & Ellen Allien (Nov ’05) and
finally the North West’s biggest & best NYE party, a total sell out
Voodoo vs. Metropolis! Voodoo’s guest DJ roster reads like a who’s who
with artistes such as Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Joey Beltram, Andrew
Weatherall, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Green Velvet et al
all making landmark appearances in the 1990’s.

Carling Academy is the ultimate clubbing destination for the North
West. Set in a 19th Century warehouse, the venue is steeped in musical
history and is beautifully designed to retain it’s industrial feel thanks to
its cavernous brick interior and multi-level spaces, creating the perfect
    clubbing atmosphere!

    The future looks heavy!

    Voodoo out xx
