Default I have to find a good, known dj from Glasgow.

Radio 1 are doing a Glasgow special and they've asked me if I know a DJ from Glasgow for a guest mix. I said Stu and Orde, but I've got a feeling they can't do it, so I'm trying to get a little list together for them.

Any ideas? Be nice to get someone on the waves who knows what the hell they're doing hehehe :)

Everyone knows East coast smashes West coast when it comes to the Crunch, this has always been the case.... However....

If you really must 'test the West' then I'd recommend Graham Wilson and the 7th sign boys too. More tech-house/traditional detroit style but they're just great.

Glasgow always seems to have had more of a fixation with the housier end of the spectrum, I guess it's with Slam/Pressure pushing that style for so long.

Dunno who else I would recommend from there to be honest, imo* most names mentioned have long past their best and have mostly moved into painting by numbers territory.

Maybe Dave from the Technolab or something if you're after proper techno (he's on this board). Would be nicer if you could score a bit of a coup with some under-represented talent rather than just sticking on a set from one of the usual suspects.

    ( *I did say IMO, b4 y'all move up )
