The Judge has played it for ages. Due to the lyrical content, he can't play it on the Radio 1 show, but he's played quite a few other Uberdruck tracks. He usually goes for the drucktechnik stuff.

Why all the negativity? You all moan that JJ is a commercial whore, but when he plays something you like you also moan?

Check out further down the page on that link where it says Uberdruck have done a mix CD on Ministry of Sound!

i think most people get upset because he`s already established as a "commercial whore" and by dropping an uberdruck he makes it available to people who havent got a clue that there listening to some of the fattest sound the hard trance scence has to offer... its funny cuz i`ve only listen to his show like once in the the last couple of years and he played a Gas europe and a tune on Subway and a couple of other tunes that made me think **** this is fat why havent i got this!!

dont panic we will adapt!! run! hide! the machines are coming.....

hard one... i dont necessarily agree with wat he does at all, and i think he is a pretty crap dj... but he was playin scot project before it was big, ie F and second trip... and also i seen him 2 and a bit years ago and he was hammering out marco bailey stuff too... so maybe he has an ear for a tune, but just plays alongside the shite of the day to please the masses... but away from that, is it not true that majority of labels sign tunes too make money, maybe he likes the tune and he thinks its a good bet to make cash bk... a label isnt goin too release a tune, that they are not into, and that is goin too lose money...

When it comes to Jules, personally I think he is just a Dj that is extremely popular. I don't think he goes searching for commercial popularity, like Dave Pearce does.

yah, im sure the fact hes added his name to every single genre he could get his mitts on is just a coincidence

nah im not bein funny as we all have our own opinions, but he is definetly searching for commercial popularity, hes not pushed any genre forward in any way as he hasnt actually stuck to any for long enough anyway, perhaps he is a nice guy? but hes definetly in it for the money.
Sequence is coming. It's going throughout your imagination. It takes you where you've been before. A higher state of mind. Yeah, you remember the early times. Now were trying to take you again. In the deepest seas of your consciousness.....Time never stops

yeah and he appears on televised daily star adverts promoting these unsigned dance talent cd's despite having fu*k all to do with the cd?

and he appears on every televised dance show and dance magazine known to man, obviously its not for maxium exposure though, its just that hes so popular.

c'mon face it, the little turd has a bigger ego than rik wallers fat arse. hes a money grabbing bastard, who has no passion at all for the music he plays. how can anyone try and defend this guy?

c'mon paul, good ear for a tune? admittingley he does play some records that i enjoy, i personally think he does that to try and gain credibility within the dance scene.

and what about the time he heard his wife singing in the shower, and moulded her into a pop star overnight? fu*king dreadful!

If you already had such a high profile wouldn't you use it though?

I can see what you're saying, but I don't necessarily agree. JJ was with dance music from the beginning, he isn't a bandwagon jumper. To say he hasn't pushed any genre forward is quite ridiculous to me - he's pushed them all forward via promotion on his Kiss and Radio 1 radio shows! there are probably many people who like dance music today who began listening to his shows or CDs, people who now produce/dj, etc.

yeah man, i was just tryin too put a different side too the argument across, im not perticuarly bothered about it tbh.

If he didnt have a good ear for a tune, he wouldnt be where he is...

to be fair he was proberly on too scot project and marco bailey before a lot of people in this country, why would he play tunes too get credibility, wat is he gonna care about credibility, when arguably he is one of the biggest pulling djs in the uk.

    .
your right paul, he does have a good ear for a tune, a commercial one, but so does everyone else, and he can also see the commercial potential in some underground orientated tracks. but thats what this guy is all about, money, and ego. he can get away with playing underground material now is because hes been playing commercial cheese for so long, that the musically naive that worship this cunt will enjoy anything, and buy anything he plays.

the majority of tracks that he plays are nothing more than commercial crap, i dont think we can really call commercial crap music, do you?
