The Garden Of Delights:

Huge bonfire all night, fire performance, chai café, munting.

This time we’ve gone for a line up of technically outstanding performers rather than so-called ‘big name’ acts (although Kutski’s career has deservedly sky-rocketed off since starting his Radio 1 show on The Residency – remember where you heard him first, pop-pickers!! Ripsnorter was the first to offer the young prodigy a residency back in 2003 and this will be John’s first set for The Rippers since starting the Radio 1 show). He will doing the Grande-Finale in The Temple taking us through old skool hip-hop, TV theme tunes, hard–trance anthems, with classics like ‘Tainted Love’ and ‘Sweet Dreams’ scratched and cut in and out like no-one else does. Or can. A true party DJ. We’ve also got two of the finest techno DJs I’ve ever heard on the same bill; Rhythm-meister Dave Randall, and playing possibly her last performance for us before emigrating to the US, the awesome Little Miss Large. Dilemma makes her Ripsnorter debut – Emma is known on the South-West underground scene for her tightly mixed sets of chunky, funky, techno-trance. Ripper ressies Greg Zogg and DJ Pod take the main room sound a little more melodic and psychedelic, but always driving…

Upstairs in The Tunnel, DJ Ram and Paul Edwards will be warming up with some dirty breaks. Ben Eye is welcome back to Ripsnorter – since he last played, Ben has gone from being the South-West’s premier hard-trance DJ to being a nationally known performer with tunes out on one of the world’s leading trance labels – Uberdruck Records. Getting harder, faster and dirtier will be local boy, but no stranger to Ripsnorter, the lovely Dave Mitten!

For those needing respite from the aural assault of the main rooms, Dreditor will be spinning reggae and dub, and Dee-Jake and Clare Large will be going through some more eclectic chill out sounds.
