Novation V-station. Nothing can touch this at the moment IMO.

Agreed, the Trance 2 preset with portamento turned off is wicked for leads in my opinion :)

If it's the Juno sound your after then there is a much better emulator, you can download the demo at http://www.dashsynthesis.com/, i was impressed :)

That link didn't work for me I'm afraid. What's the synth called?

For getting good Juno style fatness, the z3ta+ is amazing... Plus, you get to warp sounds in ways the Juno could never get anywhere near.

Juno X annoys me - you can't LFO the filter frequency! I mean, really... That's half the fun of a Juno imo.

Plus the enveloping is screwed. Not a well written synth.

That demo does have some rather tasty sounds in it!

    Crap tune though.

depends what your after. i dont use v station but i bought the k station years ago and its still a great sounding v/a synth.

just so easy to jump on and programme.

perhaps a bit thin were leads are concerned due to its polyphony but with a bit of outside processing you can sort that.

still a great synth for that analog sound, novation filters are loverly too.

and if its a warm rich rolling bassline your after then look no further.
