    Default midi in fruity

    hi,

sorry for all these fruity qestions guys!. my midi box wont work in fruity now. its an amt8. it does work because we used it the other day with logic 7 and a mac. and it works strat away with logic. just gotta plug the usb in and off it goes. but in fruity its not triggering anything. ive installed the driver. and in the midi options ive set to the amt8 so all ports should work. but its not. is there an enable for that or some sort of setting. i hav selscted the amt8 tho in the midi opthions

    cheers

No, if you've selected it and ticked the "enable" box in the FLS MIDI settigs box it should work. Are you sure you didn't map the keyboard to a MIDI port instead (under the OUTPUT box) instead.

If this doesn't work you could try routing it through MIDI OX and then out through a virtual MIDI patch cable (MIDI Yoke is my choice) and see if that solves your dramas.

Mostly I find it to be quite the contrary, though admittedly MIDI isn't it's strong point. Does what I need though.
