HARD LIFE - Saturday 18th March 2006


For our first event of the year, we have taken the decision to go back to basics, back to the original Hard Life vibe we had back at The Scubar, and bring the hardstyle and techno back within one room.

The aim – to produce a progression from techno to hardstyle, and to showcase hard music in as diverse a way as possible within the one room.

Headlining this event, we have a DJ who as many of you will know I have been bigging up a lot these past few months, and who I am therefore very proud to welcome aboard - JOHNY SIDEWAYS.

A legend on the Leeds underground circuit, he will be joining us for a set of his innovative HardTek sound. This sound incorporates many diverse elements of different hard underground sounds - breakcore, frenchcore, hard techno, tech-step - elements of them all are in their, and this set will be featuring many of Johny's own productions that are currently being released through his Kaotek Wreckords impint.

This will be something a little different for the Hard Life crew as we present a night in the original tradition of the Hard Life vibe - showcasing cutting edge hard music in all its diverse forms.
