    Default Bloody Roland

Ordered a power supply today for my Roland R5 drum machine..

    50 quid! 50 bloody quid!

The fitting on the R5 is really funny and its a wierd voltage as well...

At least it means i get the drum machine back...

Yeah, they like their obscure kettle power plugs, make sure said thing is included if you buy a roland off of ebay. Got similarly stung with a used MKS-50.

a lot of them are jus standard 9v.. TR505 & a lot of the DR range.

but on the more obscure ones, they really take the piss.

same with manuals. one of the only manufacturers NOT to make manuals available online in PDF, they must make a mint charging for them... gits
