SYSTEM 47 proudly presents the 'XX MIX SERIES' debut..

Having gained a confident grasp of Abletons ground breaking Live software, S47 has released 8 mixes & appeared at numerous belfast club nights.

Not content with the new approach to 'the mix' S47 decided to start a new mix series which would focus on the blending of technology & audio tools as well as the blending of loops & elements.

For this first installment, S47 has brought 3 Technics 1210 turntables to the mix, as well as an Ecler Nuo5, multi fx units & a foot operated filter unit.

Combining these new elements with the laptop & midi controllers & virtual TR909 drum machine, S47 takes control of of a mammoth 12 channels of audio.

Fusing loops & elements from tracks by artists such as Basic Channel, Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Paco Osanu, Alex Under & more, 3 copies of the vinyl lock groove edition of Richie Hawtins seminal DE9:Closer To The Edit where added over three Technics to enhance the breadth of the mix. Blending, doubling, filtering & delaying audio from vinyl, laptop & fx units, S47 has created a solid 83 minute mix & once again pushed himself to a new & interesting place 'in the mix'
