I didn't see Gerrards 1st booking but the second was a defo yellow card. It does not matter how well you play in derbys as long as you win and with 10 men Liverpool have done well.

Not sure what Richard Wright was doing for the 2nd goal.

    Seen the sunday papers today?

    "yob culture"

The headline on the back of the mirrior & the inside of the star. Are they fukin stupid? what game were they watching? It was by no means a dirty game. They should of been highlighting how shite the ref was in the game & refs in general.

    Tossers.

The van der Meyde red seemed well harsh, straight red wasn't it? I was thinking it's funny how these (relatively )talented foreign players often get themselves sent off in derby's 'til I saw it...

I can't see how the ref can be blamed for either, if you want to blame anything then blame the rule book because he just followed the rules, it was a defo leading elbow in the face which says red and Gerrard kicked the ball away for one yellow and clattered the player for the other yellow. I wish the refs were allowed to show common sense but they are not.

Completely true, but the words "referee" and "common sense" in the same sentence???
