The problem is everytime Liverpool play Chelsea Rafa goes 4-5-1 to match chelsea or plays 4-4-2 and plays Gerrard on the right. Liverpool will never beat Chelsea unless they get Gerrard in the middle where he can dominate and effect the game. The last game when Chelsea dicked Liverpool Gerrard hardly touched the ball secon half.

True we need to really go at them, crouch up front on his own is fuking useless. Sure, chances are he will win the ball but its either..A) he gets no direction at it so it goes right back to them or B) the midfiled always seems to not be advanced enough up the field to make use of his winning the ball so again it goes back to them. Garcia's ****in garbage as a link between the two & not much better in general. he'd need to buy a classy middle man to play the one up front system to link it.

oh & a striker who scores much more regular.

Didn't Liverpool play 3-5-2 wing back system against Newcatle last week? That might be a option, Rafa is always going to play Sissoko and Alonso, at least you could still have room for Gerrard in the middle also and give him more freedom to get forward more.

Yeah but who knows whether he would use it in a cup semi, i doubt it personally. Gerrard needs to be in the centre for certain. Whether he will be or not is another matter.

it's a tough one...

i'd rather Chelsea win i think, despite the fact i agree with what has been posted about their cheating antics...

also agree that Gerrard needs to play in mid-field otherwise the Kopites have little chance...

i hope it's a good game though, unlike some of the other recent encounters between these two clubs...
