I've had no problems with the M-Audio Audiophile at USB 1.1. Actually, strike that, I've had one problem. If I tried running Ableton and Reason at the same time on my laptop, there would be a slight latency issue between audio that my software was generating and what I was doing with external gear. However, being that I don't use any external gear for the stuff I do with Ableton, problem was quickly fixable by just closing Ableton and running Reason standalone. For straight laptop rock though, I've never had a prob. Use it with a machine that has roughly 300 megs of RAM and a Celeron 2.0 ghz processor. Not exactly an extreme setup.
