Yeah, got an MPD16. The nice things about it are the ability to switch to a "16 levels of velocity" mode (where every pad sends the same note at a discrete velocity), "all notes full velocity" and the ability to program which pad sends what note. I prefer it to a keyboard because the physical differences between the positioning of the black and white keys just get in the way when you're dealing with untuned samples.

Need to stress this though; You need to glue it to something solid. Some people think it sucks because the pads aren't responsive enough, but they were trying to use it without it attached to something (the difference is like night and day). I think they learned their lesson with the MPD24; looks like there's more mass to that one.
