Default Mark EG Club Experiments cd

ive been listening to this alot again lately. i bought it the first day it was released. must be a good few years now, and to be fair at the time i was expecting hard trance. It was this cd that single handedly got me into techno properly.

anyway the reason for this thread, is :

how come there was only one installment of club experiments?

i have always wanted volume two!! it was great to be able to go out and buy a compilation of quality techno on cd.

come to think of it, it was a shame there was only 1 brainstorm aswell..

why are there 5,000 wanky bonkers cds and a handfull of techno releases...

can any1 reccomend some good techno compilation cds??

Schranzwerk 15 is quite a nice compilation (dont be afraid cos of the name)
Stuff like Henze, Tadox, Zaffarano, Speedy J., Natus,...
Also quite good CDs are Lars Klein "From decks to disc" and Michael Burkat "Schranz in weiss"

One reason – I'm guessing – is money. Not a big market for straight-up techno compilations. You yourself were into trance and expecting a hard trance compilation when you purchased the Club Experiments CD.

Fine Audio has a pretty lengthy series, as well as some good titles on the DJ-Kicks series. Check out the Submerge site to pick up compilations from M-nus, Plus 8 and others.
