bitcrush!

so last time Secret Cinema played here he was doing this mad effect on the mster out, and when i asked him what it was afterwards, he said a vst bitcrusher. but it kinda had the same sound as SuperTrigger, stuttery n all..

any idea where i can get a bit crusher or a name?

Cubase has one

but am i right in saying that this just digitally distorts it a bit, doesnt make anything stutter..???

Ahhh. i know what he talking about, he talking about the beat repeat in ableton.

on 1/256 mode it does that sound and of course stutters.

Love that beast plugin its ace.

you should also try dBlue Glitch mate... it has a bitcrusher, beat repeater, stutter, flanger, modulator, timestretcher, gater and reverser, plus a (pretty tame) filter.

like supatrigga tho, youve got to sort the probabilites out or itll be a bit random (uness you want that!)
