Bit late for all this, all the dance mags were masterbating over the TG influence in electronica a couple of years ago.

Yes, they are/were great, both in their philosophy about music, and their conviction to genuinely do something different, and to change and move on to new things when the time came.

They are a good example for people in this current copycat techno climate, as an example of not imitating, to be original and to want and strive to do your own thing, despite trends and fashions.

    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

Why does everyone always think of Throbbing Gristle but no-one ever mentions how good Foetus were?

haha, that`s the whole point really, they broke the moulds, they weren`t trying to make music that people liked, they wanted to offend and scare a turn people away.

Coil was the best thing to come out of TG.. And Coum Transmissions!
They did a few great songs too though.
