good stuff ill be there!
Sat 24th June - Atomic Jam presents ADAM BEYER & ALLOY MENTAL (Live). - thats off the resi from the factory
if that's the lineup i really wont be bothering. gutted at that really
phil kierans band. not really into them to be honest.
\"if you don\'t explode a few heads every night, then you\'re not doing your job\" R.Hawtin IDJ 2001
Id say dont judge if you havent seen em live. I have and they were awesome, refreshing. Yeah blatently doing the whole Nitzer Ebb thing, so what. They have some dirty beats over some punk esque shouty vocals, all good imo. They aint no Nitzer Ebb I agree.
But I think they will go down well, something completely different for the Jam tbf and fair play to Danny & Co for going for it.
I remember hearing people moan before how the line ups are always so predictable not so long ago, I would never of predicted either of these acts tbh.
Roll on the 24th.

looking forward to catching up with everybody, old and new.
10 months has been too long.
next jam is being planned for sometime in september
when we will be celebrating our 11th birthday!
fuk fuk .. why on the same nite as nuclear audio
the thing is Fordy, the Jam means alot of different things to alot of different people, and as much as im chuffed to bits its back, this just isnt classic Jam for me, and it wont be for ALOT of people. No doubt its gonna go off and be a fantastic party, really it will, but i know i wont enjoy it. I dont wanna see what basically boils down to a Nitzer Ebb tribute band, ive heard all their stuff and it genuinely isnt my thing
hope the september birthday is an absolute classic
as they say,
you can't please all the people all the time.....
Horses for courses and all that.....
Don't think it's good to get hooked in to a too rigid
and predictable a booking policy.
just my thoughts of course.
Ill be givin this one a miss for 2 reasons. Im made up the jams back though. Some of the best nights out ive had have been there.
seems to of worked for 11 years mate!Originally Posted by dannyjam

I am the eggman
haha
i just honestly think the "if its not broke dont fix it" ethos certainly comes into play with some things, and for me personally, the Jam is one of those things. I've literaly had life changing nights in the past at Atomic Jam, you've set your own standards too high if anything hehe :)
fingers crossed for sept!
your rite there eyes classic jam is in t que club somehow the medicine bar doesnt bring the same kind of excitment
never been to atomic jam before really hoping to be able to make the mission down to it now its back up and running :) , cant go to this one though as it clashes with my mates night in liverpool (nuclear audio)
Drugs, dirty dancing and pounding techno music
Mine and the missus first time going to atomic jam, really looking forward to it.
Not to bothered who's on as long as there's a good atmosphere and some pounding beats.
Any idea where the best place to get tickets in brum is?
Probably be safe(ish) gettin in on the door. We used to troop down from liverpool all the time for this without tickets.
Shut it GrEy before i drive to the wirral and dry Butt fxxk you, u moanin old fart, if ive got anything to do with the matter me wont be listening to much music anyway, just gurning around and playing with some girls fake tits!Originally Posted by eyeswithoutaface
