Id say dont judge if you havent seen em live. I have and they were awesome, refreshing. Yeah blatently doing the whole Nitzer Ebb thing, so what. They have some dirty beats over some punk esque shouty vocals, all good imo. They aint no Nitzer Ebb I agree.

But I think they will go down well, something completely different for the Jam tbf and fair play to Danny & Co for going for it.

I remember hearing people moan before how the line ups are always so predictable not so long ago, I would never of predicted either of these acts tbh.

    Roll on the 24th.

the thing is Fordy, the Jam means alot of different things to alot of different people, and as much as im chuffed to bits its back, this just isnt classic Jam for me, and it wont be for ALOT of people. No doubt its gonna go off and be a fantastic party, really it will, but i know i wont enjoy it. I dont wanna see what basically boils down to a Nitzer Ebb tribute band, ive heard all their stuff and it genuinely isnt my thing

hope the september birthday is an absolute classic

    as they say,
you can't please all the people all the time.....
Horses for courses and all that.....
Don't think it's good to get hooked in to a too rigid
    and predictable a booking policy.
    just my thoughts of course.

    haha

i just honestly think the "if its not broke dont fix it" ethos certainly comes into play with some things, and for me personally, the Jam is one of those things. I've literaly had life changing nights in the past at Atomic Jam, you've set your own standards too high if anything hehe :)

    fingers crossed for sept!

Mine and the missus first time going to atomic jam, really looking forward to it.

Not to bothered who's on as long as there's a good atmosphere and some pounding beats.

Any idea where the best place to get tickets in brum is?
