I hate it when someone asks me what music I like to which they reply "what like 2 Unlimited"

I look at it like this correct me if im wrong. There is maybe 4 levels of knowing what Techno actually is at the top of the ignorance scale comes:-

- People like my Dad who thinks there is only two types of Music, Classical and Pop.

- People like my work colleagues who think 2 Unlimited is good old fashioned Techno.

- People that have experienced dare I say it "Raving" so use to hear for want of a better word "British-Rave-Scene-Techno" along with their Old-Skool, Hardcore, DnB and Hard-Trance. Which is ok, im sure quite a few people on here were the same I know I was!

And finally:-

- People that know true Techno and its origins in the states and its strong links to mainland Europe. But these people are very few and far between. But this is what I like most about Techno because the "Music Buisness" will never suck it in and spit it out leaving the tattered remains to the faithfull to pick up the pieces :cheese:
