The penalty that never was in the 75th or what ever minute was a major turning point,as they scored the 2nd just after it. plus Viduka missed that guilt egde chance. Boro battled,especially in the first half but they didn't look like winning the game.

I hate to say it,but IMO the best team on the night won.

Embarrassing - feel like I don't want to go to work with all the Spanish c***s in my office, although Saville are a top 5 side in Spain and Boro are a bottom half team in England.

Boro played some nice football, looked well comfortable on the ball and really it was a blatent penalty which could of made it 1-1 and a different game. Can not understand why the ref never gave it, he had a perfect view. Same german toss pot who sent 2 Arsenal players off.

Ironic really, Sevilla were the better team in the first half and only scored once, but Boro were the better team for most of the 2nd half and conceded another 3... I guess Boro should have made a better fist of it in the first half and tried to get the first goal, like Southgate said.

I feel like someone had died that is the worst i have ever felt about a Football game,it was worse than getting relegated in 97.The thing that keeps me going is the fact that i can say i have been to a european final to watch my team,not many others can.

Actually at the moment that isn't much consilation,£500 to have the worst heartbreak ever.I'm just glad i opted against going to the world cup.
