    Default Hennes & Cold

I wonder what these guys are up to now? I loved their earlier stuff... and I did like there Louder / Softer track on Bulletproof which was much more hard trance influenced then you would expect.

Anyone else seen/heard anything recent from these guys?

Kan Cold? hmm... didn't they do a remix of DJ Overdog - **** You Up? - It was an ok mix but sounded very rough... and the double beat idea was a not delivered well.

The Overdog club mix on that track is class though.

you heard Kan Cold - Requiem?

Not bad tune... but it sounds as if he doesn't use compression or his kicks are far too hard in high freq's. They sound like oldskool kicks from early hardcore.

Jay, nearly everyone credits them with having created it, that's why you often hear it called a hennes & cold bassline.

Yeah it's used a lot and changed sort of. I REALLY like the Analogic Disturbance bass line in Duskey Noises. Anyone know what they use to make it or have a copy of the bass line then pm me! :)

Who would you say used the bassline first? I sort of always thought it was Hennes & Cold, that it evolved from the Mauro Picotto Lizard kind of bass.

The bass in question can be found on the
Techno Trance Essentials CD by Ueberschall,
you gotta be clever to make it sound the way they did though,
you have to cut the sample in half then reverse the first part!!!

Very impressive if you ask me.

First time I heard it was in Scot Projects mixof Second Trip.

    Kan Cold ROX, Fact.

Care to be a bit more specific with the sample used mate?

I dont think it would be wise to use this bassline "AGAIN" but it would be nice to see how they come up with it.
