he doesnt get the praise he deserves, people see the lanky player and laugh purely for his hieght, but his layoff's and one touch pass's and holding the ball, are really quite good, hes a work horse too, hes all over the pitch running those long legs of his all over the place.
he is a good player, i laugh at his critics.

To be fair he has improved a hell of a lot over the course of the season and he can do a job, he knows his strengths and does not try to do things he can't. He is a team player and holds a lot of respect amongst players.
His finishing could still improve at times but that was a great finish the other night.

His '2nd goal' was an own goal I'm sure, so Owen should have taken the penalty, bit selfish unless Owen told him he can take it, but I think he just grabbed the ball. He did well, but if that 2nd goal is given to him I'll be disappointed, it makes a mockery of goal tallies if goals are just arbitraily dished out like that.
