yep you cant really do anything about it mate, it would be a different case if it were a major act and there were genuine conflicts of interest, for example if someone started putting out music under the name Robbie Williams, they wouldnt have to wait long before his management where on the phone, obviously Robbie Williams will have his name branded and protected in some way shape or form as its a multimillion pound revenue at stake and what not, doesnt mean a thing in the small world of techno though unfortunately

i remember the band The Electric Soft Parade had similiar problems when they were called The Soft Parade as an american group had the same name so they thrashed out a deal where they would add the "Electric" to their name, but like i said thats major label stuff where genuine confusion, loss of earnings, artistic compromise etc etc plays a big factor

usually boils down to money, and who has the potential to make the most, or is currently making the most, for their respective labels
