    any fans?

the best televised music show around (never mind the buzzcocks aside) the line-up is always so diverse. this show really opens you up to music/artists that you wouldnt normally give 2 minutes of your time.

although the show has its fair share of headline acts, your always sure to find some really obscure and talented artists that leave you wondering why on earth you havent you heard of them before.

must say though this recent series hasnt been at its very best, but its still good nevertheless.

Went to see him at a special secret show with tom jones a little while back in hammersmith.
they had a piano cam on jools` fingers.

    He`s the daddy.
I love his show too, a nice mix of live music.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

whilst not being a huge Squeeze fan, Jools is indeed amazing. I used to have a great video of him doing a concert with Dr John and it was excellent stuff

and yeah, "Veneer" is great stuff, it didnt do amazingly prior to the cover of "Heartbeats" but it is a fantastic album

    Deffo - the guy's a legend....

.... I've been watching odd shows of his since was a young kid as my dad was always interested in world music, and particular roots and folk music and regarded Holland's show as the only music program worth watching on TV. Went through a spell as a teenager where I regarded it as a bit of an 'old mans' show as i rebelled against that background and only wanted to hear hardcore techno and jungle, but as I've got older and my tastes have matured really starting to appreciate this show again.

    Respect to the Holland!!
