we put a 10m bid in today for carrick and it got knocked back , do you think he would fill the roll left by keane ? would he be able to cope with the pressure of being at utd ? tbh i rate him bt dont think he would do the full job at us , but its a case of seeing what hes like in the world cup if he gets a chance ...

Hes a quality player and still young enough to improve.I think Keane was about 23 when he first signed for United and he didn't comr age till a couple of seasons so i woulndt worry about it.

very good player in my opinion but i think the money would be better spent on a somebody whos more of a leader eg player in the mold of gerrard or lampard. carrick reminds me more of hamann sitting there an breaking things up but carricks a far better passer of the ball
