    Default bass vsti

What are the best vst soft synths for creating bass sounds especially used in techno, hard trance and psy trance?

    Reasons subtractor rocks

Try the V-station or the Bassstation. both excellent VSTi's in their own right and VERY close to the originals..

BTW, its not the synth, but the programming, learn how to write your own patches. It'll pay you good dividends in the long term.

    Synapse Audio Hydra.
I used it for 99% of my basslines.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

Hydra is a junglist, with an extra, sub specific oscillator, and a few extra bells and whistles.
A lot of people overlook this synth because it has a very simple Gui, and does`nt have 15 million 3d animated knobs with 3d Ray traced light effects.
However the programming behind it is solid. Just check it out, I defy you not to make sick basslines with it.

FM7 for me is the synth for making bass sounds in(most sounds realy) it just seems to sound so nice and is pretty easy to use with a bit of time.

I like albino myself. Just has a nice sound to it, and a decent interface.
