Having listened to the CD again I think I should add a few more lines:

In all my comments on the quality of the tracks i think i failed to praise you enough for the quality of the mixing. At first i hadnt realised how fast you were getting through the records, and I missed a lot of the little vocal snippets you added in here and there. The speed at which you must have been cueing must've been a sight to behold! You should be very proud, as it is a real step up from previous Excessive's where to my recollection there was rarely a quick mix among them.

However I have yet to change my opinion on the majority of the tracks, and i dont think i am likely to. I think this comes as a combination of the copy-cat nature of a lot of the hardstyle scene at the moment, as well as my general apathy towards a large proportion of it. Your last CD was, as you said, at a time when there was a great deal of quality in the scene, and in comparison these are lean times for a DJ. Im sure you like all of the records though, so put this down to a difference of opinion.

Having said that about the records though, they would most likely all sound amazing on a club sound system and i would doubtless be bouncing away all through the set, especially as the energy is kept up through the tight and fast mixing.

Still think 1.03 on track 1 sounds dodgy though ;)
