    Default Decimal - Aleitheometer

Brand new stuff here, with a sort of a drummy vibe.

any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    Nice groove.

there`s something odd about the top end in this. it seems to dominate the mix too much, and is a little too dry also.

Nice bassline, could be just a touch louder.

Nice bleepy riff at the break, I do like polyrhythms, and I rarely hear people use em, so well done.
I like the mad machine changes to the main riff too.

Overall this is cool. Could be a really nice techno track, and just needs some tweaks to the mix. Balance the top end more effectviely, maybe get some more compression into the mid range too, to make things gel a little more.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

liking this one. track starts with sweet bassline,. really digging it..same with those himid percussions, they are grooving there smoothly,. i am not too much into the hihat loop placed on the top. as the track goes, i am enjoying that crazy bleepy thing,. cant comment on production as i am on headphones. nice track...

Nice to see you over at the LivePA boards, Steve. i can't thank you enough for your help!
Balancing is such a meticulious process, i can never seem to get it perfect, but i really want to push this track as far as i can. I still need pointers on what to look for to improve.

Changes have been made and the track is reuploaded here:

I rewrote this because i decided it wasn't tracky enough. new file is here:

I'm experimenting with vinyl-ready production, so i have nothing on the master signal save for a psp vintagewarmer and a limiter.

Can anyone comment on those balancing/EQ changes?

really liking this. i aggre with what was said - i.e make the bassline a little louder/more prominent + tame the highs a little. they seem a little harsh at times. the track in itself is very nice, indeed. good effort. what i would play if i was playing out :techno:
