Hello All,

I am writing this to inform you that myself and Alex Ough shall be handing over the running of Positive Impact after 2 Years in charge of proceedings to Dan Baker, which includes organising Positive Impact Events and also the Positive Impact DJ Agency.

My reason for this is that I just dont have the time..... I only recently moved into a new house which still has boxes all over the place, and I have just started a new job which involves shift work across days and nights, both of which are more important to me at this moment in time. Alex is also struggling to find time to organise anything as well and agrees with me that Positive Impact would be better in the hands of someone with more verve and energy (as well as time) to devote to the organisation.

Having recently spoken to Dan, one of the things I was looking for was a passion and enthusiasm to take Positive Impact forward, something that Dan has shown in abundance with some of the ideas and thoughts already expressed to me. Anyone who has seen Dan DJing will have seen this for themselves, and with an inner knowledge of the Plymouth Clubbing Scene I feel that Dan will be able to take Positive Impact to the next level.

I would like to thank everyone that attended any of our Positive Impact Nights, both at the Dance Academy when we first started and further events at Club Juice. I would also like to thank the Premonition Guys for running versus nights with us at the Candy Store. I thoroughly enjoyed every night we ran equally, and though not all nights were profitable all were thoroughly worthwhile. I hope that you can all find the time to support Dan as well as you supported myself and Alex.

I would further like to extend thanks to all of the DJs who are on the Positive Impact DJ Rosters, Exclusive, Non-Exclusive and Rising Talent. Some of you I have managed to get bookings for, although this amount was not nearly as much as I had hoped for. Again I put this down to not having the time to push this project further, but I have been assured by Dan that he will approach running the agency with as much passion as I did and hopes to be able to take the DJ Agency a further step up.

I will continue to be a Resident DJ for Positive Impact Nights, and look forward to working with Dan and his Team.

Further to the above, I would also like to announce a change in direction for me as a DJ.

I still have some commitments to honour with the Elusive Agency in Holland and also for Overload in Newcastle which I fully intend to honour. I will also continue to be a Resident DJ for Positive Impact playing Hardstyle sets, but I intend to start playing Hard Techno and Schranz at the beginning of 2007 which will see my playing under a different name..... all will be revealed on my website www.geoffnugent.co.uk in good time. Why 2007??? That should give me plenty of time to get into my new genre with the same enthusiasm that I have shown with my Hardstyle DJing, learn my trade from scratch and understand the genre fully before even attempting to play a live set.

Finally, good luck to Dan and the "New" Positive Impact Team, I hope that this is a successful new chapter in the Plymouth's Clubbing History!!!

Thanks for listening.
