ROUTE #57 - Not really feeling the 2006 remix TBH. The original still sounds fat though, and IMO sounds 100% better than the 06 mix. Obviously the productions better on the new version, but it doesn't sound that exciting.

ROUTE #58 - Like the acid house mix, keep expecting to hear "S-Express" vocals pop up though! (anyone else know what I mean? :cheese:). Not 100% sure on the PGV mix at the moment. It sounds quite minimal. Will check out the full track on vinyl before buying I think.

FINAL VERDICT: Won't be buying Route 57, but may buy 58 after i've listened to the full tracks in my local vinyl emporium. Bring on Route 59, and hopefully a fresh new track. :)

about time this one was bought out...if only to bring down the prices of all the stitch ups selling the original for stupid money.

not sure on the 2006 remix...production like si said is good but it just doesnt have anything on the original

i'd buy 57 for the original but not sure about 58 with its s-express mix and bongo's in the jungle mix

you cant compare it to the original...its too good

it is unfair on my part to dislike them through sounbites...its just the style that doesnt do it for me

definalty give me a good listen at the local rec shop before i make any other judgments

i like the sound of the pgv mix - probably because it's not trying to hard to be the original, don't know if the 2006 mix is neccessary really but need to hear the vinyl before i pass too much judgement

    Pounding Grooves remix is ok
Acid House Remix - not really my bag
Really like the 2006 remix on 57a - kicks ass except for the poncy vocal bit.

Got both of these a couple of weeks ago, really glad I did aswell cos I never had a copy of the origional. Kind of like all 3 mixes in their own little way. Something for everyone in there.
