Just been thinking recently what with 'Drop It' by 3 Steps Ahead and So by Nightraver being given the Hardstyle makeover.
Do you think that Hardstyle will be classed as the new Gabba (If it isn't already!!).
How many more Hardcore tracks in the future will be given the Hardstyle treatment?
Do you think this is a good or bad thing for the hardstyle scene?.
Personally I think a genre should be trying to progress itself rather than regress by using the same old samples and not doing anything original or innovative.
It's becoming more and more difficult to find Hardstyle tunes that are not either...
A - ****ing Terrible (Stand Up Suntec! Final Countdown?!?! WTF)
B - Use the same basslines and Filtered Kick
C - Uses the same sounds in every track.
Don't mean to bitch guys but I just don't want to see this genre of music go down the pan because it's run out of fresh ideas.
I'd like to know what others think.
Will :)
