the name really puts me off, but they are a tight as **** band, pretty much classic rock brought up to date with less cheese than The Darkness. The singer has a powerful as **** voice, saw a video of a gig the other month and also they did "woman" i think it was live on tv the other day, hell of a voice on him

Innit. They wouldnt of been out of place in the 70's sound & looks wise. Fella's voice reminds me a bit of ozzy's. Ive had the album on all day, made up with it.

I'm still undecided. I definately like the idea, but I'm still wondering if they are no more than a rip off of early Black Sabbath/Led Zeppelin. The guys voice really does sound alot like ozzy circa 1970 or so, but thats a good thing I guess. In fact if it turns out that all they ever do is try to emulate that sound, thats not such a bad thing to be doing actually. I'll have to listen to the album...

Still havent got the album, but I'm definately into these guys now. Loving it in fact. I've got the 7" pic disc of Woman, and the B side is well cool, its got a remix of woman by the avalanches that is way out. Next time I go buying CD's I'll be picking this one up I reckon.

im quite liking them, like you say, classic rock with that classic 70's look and feel.

It's some of the lyrics that im not too keen on
Life is "trying things to see if they work"

Finally getting around to updating my site

I'm rather indifferent. I like them because they obviously have loads of talent, but I'm not a fan of their style of music. Here's what Mike Patton thinks of their music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r98WLLWMq3o
