im going to buy monitor speakers,i wondered if someone could give advice. my budget is 150.

I have a pair of Alesis M1 active MkII

They are brilliant...but a bit outside your price range perhaps

You can get a new pair for about £230

I've never used either of those so I can't really comment on them

You could do worse than check out a pair of Tannoy Reveals if you need to stick to that price range...thought they were impressive for the price
