Miro Merlak AKA qwerty lives in London but comes from Croatia. Since the late 90s he has released several albums of experimental electronic music on the Phthalo, Piehead and Kitchen Sink labels and is currently involved with the Prikljucak internet radio station. The Concrete Acid EP features these 4 concrete-solid electro acid-influenced tracks which are both dancefloor direct and jittery percussive. The tracklisting is kind of a homage to labels such as Metroplex which favoured the 2 tracks plus versions approach. The 303 mix of 'Concrete Acid' features some melodic assistance from Mr EDMX, and fans of his and the work of Rephlex will not be disappointed. We are delighted to release this killer 12" on Rottenrow and to have qwerty on board!
