http://www.underground-sounds.co.uk/ this isnt strictly a venue because they do gigs all over the place but i thought it deserved a mention because its a site thats given many young musicians in my town and the south west in general good opputunitys to showcase what they can do.

if you live in the south east of ireland, this is the place to go. ive seen everyrthing from 'metalitia' (metalica tribute band), ben simms, adam beyer, umek, chris leibing... plus loads of rock acts... long may it live, the forum is the best venue in the world.

I just moved to Austin, Texas and have already been to two shows- Lagwagon at http://www.emosaustin.com/ and Bloc Party @ http://www.stubbsaustin.com/music.php That's all I have seen here. Before that, the Metro and Fireside Bowl in Chicago, Revival and the Trocadero in Philadelphia. Iguana's in Tiajuana and Red Rocks in Colorado.
