Yeah, it wasn't very impressive, but at least we got Gallas and got rid of the money grabbing cunt before his value dropped further. I'm quite looking forward to the domestic season now with our new signings, nevermind europe where our style of football should flourish again! Hopefully we'll sign Lahm in January, I suppose Bridge isn't going to happen...

Is it fuk. Gallas is no spring chicken & say what you like cole is without doubt one of the best left backs in the business.

A central defender is more important than a left back and although Cole is quality in that position Arsenal never really missed him last season.
Gallas is class and will improve Arsenal and he has another 5 good years in him. Plus Gallas speak the 1st language at Arsenal.
Not sure Cole will improve Chelsea that much, Bridge is also a good left back and although Cole is better Bridge has already had 2 assits this season from over lapping. Not sure how much more Cole can give and think they will miss Gallas more.

i think arsenal got the better of it. cole is great but is more of a role player than gallas. denilson is awesome
