Man U sold Ruud and paid an obscene £18m for Carrick so they spent no more than us in terms of net expenditure... Plus it looks like we swapped Reyes for Baptista (loan) Cole for Gallas and money and sold Cygan for a whopping £2m... which means we got back what we paid for him when he's several years older!
So I suppose Man U spent more than us in terms of net expenditure and didn't lose as many players... Though I'm glad to see the back of the last 3, and Sol really...

we didnt spend 18 m at all will , and will o only go to 18 if we win the CL prem and he gets more games for england plus so many games in so many years at utd
