listened to a vinyl copy of the EP today and i was really disappointed with the sound quality - its very muddy and that's a shame because their is some killer tracks that just need better production.
it would be difficult to mix for me because it would just sound like the sound system had fack'd and I not sure it would go down as well as it could if it was clear kicks and analogue.

    sorry, only my opinion.

    peace.

you´d be surprised, this one actually does quite well compared to some of the other pressings we´ve had lately.

Sound quality of both my Fright 02 and Artillery 02 was just plain sad.

But not everyone can afford curved pressings  Not that their prices are too high really, but the shipping to Germany just breaks your neck

It is right that i saved some money at the pressing (Cover ...).

But the sound is fine! I heared it in the club, too, and I cant feel bad soundquality, sorry ...

Curve Pusher/Pressing are the best, but tooooooooo expensive for me

Instead of releasing 4 tracks, why don't labels just pick the two best (for me on this release, that would be O.B.I "Polterabend" and Arkus P "In My Mind")?. That way, you're guaranteed better sound quality regardless of where it's pressed (assuming they're cut at 45rpm).

I guess I was listening to some SUF tunes at the same time which were curve press, on the decks in Banging Tunes - which are very bassy to give that club feel. Gonna have a listen through some Absolute Zero monitors this afternoon.

    :)
