Default The new skool acid & 303 sound coming through...

...what do you guys think of the new acid techno being released at the moment? Labels such as Wah Wah, Skankadelic Sounds, the latest Getafix, Dirtbomb and Rowland the Bastards latest release on Analogue Mud. Opinions please! IMO I think the sounds starting to get a bit bigger again, and that can only be a good thing in my eyes! The Skankadelic Sounds releases have been nothing but quality from day one, and this 1st release on Analogue Mud (check it out at www.bangingtunes.com) sounds PROPER to me! Oh, and if anyone knows where I can find more information on the Dirtbomb & Analogue Mud labels please let me know, ie; websites, release dates, etc. AAACCCIIIIDDD!!!

I like some of the skankadelic releases but some i dont, i dont know why they just seem to lack something, wah wah 03 was ok but some just seem to lack that certain something. Dirtbomb,s address is below but there isnt much on their site at the moment.

I've got Dirtbomb 1 at home, not a bad record but it's a touch too trancey in places to fit in with a lot of my other stuff. Nice and hard though.

Yea, but judging by the amount of people who spend soooo much time and effort trying to get hold of old acid techno labels there must still be a love for it. Im welcoming the new skool acid with open arms and ears!

Im definitely into 303 tunes, but i prefer a really hard sounding 303, the kind D.A.V.E used to use, also i prefer a tune with other noises aswell as 303,s like unlucky punk, hash fudge dave, blow the bloody doors off e.t.c.

yeah we have heard it all before but for me there nowt wrong with a little bit of party music to lighten the atmosphere every now and then in the right club/warehouse and 303 london acid techno does just that.

been caining that new geezer on wah wah called 'throw bricks at policeman'. what a tune this is.
