Default low bass, hard kick.. almost turning into chicago techno?

i'm really loving these type of trax at the moment. zany's done a few nice ones recent and blutonium really seem to be good at it too on the odd release. but i just got the new dana and this is really taken to an extreme, almost like booty shakin chicago techno. not sure if i could play this as much as i'd like too, but it's very interesting the way this is all going...

heya mark! i thought this too (now that you mention it) ;) the last few on dance pollution being wicked examples. i got thinking this when i read c. mccormacks views in the studio section :) it's as if more empasis is being placed on the reverb and less on making it as loud as possible. the dynamics of these tracks really stand out to me!!
