Default [SHEFFIELD] MAPt @ Fez Club CLARK live Fri 10th Nov

    MAPt - Rogue Electronics

@ Fez Club, Rockingham Street Sheffield

    10pm - 4am Entry £7

    Friday 10th November

Second night for hard techno setup, MAPt, after a blazing set from Inigo Kennedy to open up.

    Line up as follows:

    CLARK (live)

Mixing computer-generated crunches, pops and clicks with organic synthesizer tones and heavily processed sounds, Chris Clark creates tense and brilliant electronica that struggles between a sense of natural wonder and exuberance and dark, foreboding undercurrents. Clark, who lived in Bristol and Brighton, UK before settling in Birmingham, debuted on Warp Records with the wintery Clarence Park and now celebrates the acclaimed release of his new album, 'Body Riddle'.
Chris makes his MAPt appearance with a full live setup, getting ready to mete out his own brand of the hardest hitting beats and basslines with a host of hardware.

    + Simon Lawson

Support comes in the form of your very own Simon Lawson, affiliated with Black Box and Special Circumstance. We welcome Simon down to our night, where he has the run of 3 decks to pound the dancefloor.

    + DJ N>E>D

Official Warp DJ and Overkill overlord, N>E>D has been performing laptop DJ sets around the world for the past 6 years. N>E>D makes a very welcome guest to the night's lineup and is a pleasure to have him lay waste to the soundsystem!

+ Residents Matt Fletcher and Ben Woollard

Keeping it hard, dark and dirty (just the way we like it!) are our residents and MAPt co-founders, Ben and 'Fletch'. Expect nothing but the darkest techno beats from these two.
