    okay i take it back

    got the 2.01 up again

problem was a few old old vst plugins i forgot about and had to update my waves to 4.01

works like a charm, i can't crash it at all!!!

so much faster and tighter midi than sx 1.06!!!

i'm a happy camper, but i'll still do a bunch more tests before i switch 100% to sx2.01

SX 2.01. Its where its at.....

I cant ****in beleave it. It sounds differant on my machine to 1.06 by a long way. I installed it and opend up a track ive been working on and played back. No problems at all the S.X 106 track ran perfectly I droped my latency down from 25 ms to 6. Took a recording without changing a thing and compard the too. Whaaaaa, so much better quality highs. This is great

One thing is. I can´t use the NI Kontakt at all in 2.01. Must be something I´m overlooking but as soon as theres any output on that vsti I get a huge feedbacky type noise that blows everything to hell.

Apparantely some vsti´s you have to set to 'old plugin behaviour'. Wouldn´t you know it.

After buying cuabse 3.7 for 300 pounds (b4 version 4-5 was around) and been told it costs to upgrade to v5 100 pounds i gave it a miss. Thought I would wait till sx came out and then upgrade to that. After been told that they wont upgrade v3.7 to S.X at all I feel completly cheating on. So yeah Fu.ck the money grabbing bastards. I paid for 300 for **** all so Stienberg can suck my dick for all I care. Its all a loads of shite anyways when you think about it. Where the fu.ck is system exclusive editor and mixer maps, we had them in the 1850's why not now? How come version 5 was tighter with external midi. Why take a step backwards. S.x 2 = pooooo

I would like to buy a copy of logic but then thats only coming out on the mac as apples bought them out (so I am told). All pc users are doomed with S.X way I see it. I wouldnt mind an Atari ST and some decent samplers me.

    Geee Nando U r righ* pis*ed m8...

Sequencers have the magic of making yer life sweet and hell depending on proper working or not...

Go cntrl + G 2 get the list editor.. there u can find all the info/ sysex/ etc...

Mixermaps died since early VST... they were replaced with studio mod. .. which I really never got into!!

I can't comment on midi timming yet! :( Or even about the usage of Hallion/ battery etc... But I will definatly have a look... though with out my proper soundcard (which I'm waiting 4) will not b possible...

In SX 2.0.1 u can desable de Plug In delay compensation maybe that can help!

U have a series of new midi controls thru generic remotes/ Midi Track efx etc.. which is not the same as the Mixermaps but It might still help !

hope 2 have better news soon m8!!

I remember you had to make ghostcopies in the project window even though it´s all just MIDI. There was probably like 1 kb ram in the damn thing.
