    this place cost 1000s to run.

    lets ditch the guests. make it members only.

    and charge 15 pounds a year for membership like freinds united.

    lets face it we can all afford fifteen pouns each a year. its nothing.

    i think this is value for money.

    and will provide funds to reimburse mark for his costs and money for him to reinvest in the site development.

    its a really good idea.

    you ****ing know it is.

    sooner its done the better

    private members club.

    Don't know about 1000s tbh. that would make this a very expensive website

    Maybe a few hundred...if Mark's being careless with his web hosting fees

    Does this website really cost £1000s to run?

    Yeah, that's just what the Techno scene needs. A private members only elitist message board.

    As if Techno doesn't have a bad enough reputation for elitism as it is.

    Sorry Cal, I think that's a terrible idea.

    I don't think everyone would want to pay £15 a year to use this site. Some might, but I suspect they would be the minority. Then as Dan mentions there is the issue of new members.

    Who's gonna pay £15 to join a site like this when the message boards at dirtytechno / LD / basterdized etc. are all free?

    we might pay that, but i doubt any new members would pay that to join.
