no sacrifice on program speed?
if the program is in ram, not necessarily a problem...

sup ric
i have about 15gb set aside for Windows... that should be more than enough.
Then one for Audio, one for Progams & Storage..
if possible create a Ghost Image of a healthy windows drive, saves a full reinstall. its a cunt sometimes to re authorize every plug in
cheers rory, good advice on the ghost image..
15 for windows, 15 for programs, 70 for audio?
i reckon a bit more for programs...depends tho.. if you ever get stuck you could just put some on the audio drive i spose.
tbh tho, a friend runs programs as well as streams audio from his USB hd... so you might get a away with it, just as long as its not everything.
I would go for 30gb program files and 70 for samples. When you will need different size you can always adjust later with programs like Partition Magic, or similar.
