i listened to this album on the net out of a morbid curiosity, and although i admit hardstyle is not to my taste, this seemed way below par even by Hardstyle standards. The production seems so dry, the sounds tired, overused and old...there's a hennes and cold bassline on it!...and the best track is the tom x remix of temples of trance and that's about four years old....the future of dance music i think not.
If I saw you on the street, i\'d say, \'You\'re dead....God told me\'.
...at last! someone else who thinks the Trance Generator's ain't all that! :clap:Originally Posted by matt303

but that's the same with most producers... for me tho, they are on the up again, after the last few eye brow raising releases and picture_disc-lets make _some_money_off_old_tunes-sessions (which is OK and fair enough, just anoying when they dont put anything new out for a while) the album sounds really cool and is something i'm actually looking forward to getting :)
i wouldnt put the album at the cutting forefront of hardstyle production, its more a collection of their phatties that have been remixed, re-worked and for their fans something a bit special (like the picture discs...)
is there any other artist albums in the hardtrance/hardstyle genres?
I'm with you guys, I think they are pretty poor Producers.....Originally Posted by Si the Sigh
I think that's a bad comment to say they are "poor" producers. I would agree that they do tend to rely on using same sound per production, but they have produced some cracking tunes. I think they just need to think more about creating something a bit different from now on, although they have a great way of making a tune hit you real hard on the dance floor.Originally Posted by DJ Corbzy
Their mixes of Rock To Da Beat and The Roots of Evil are brilliant.
Follow your music with heart and you can never go wrong...
I think that they can also be up and down but i think thats going a bit to far saying they are poor. All producers that produce as many tracks as they have are bound to have a couple that people dont agree with.
They have shown that they can produce quality choons, and some of them are in my top pile.
It comes down to taste again tho i suppose.
i really like the klassic and sanders rmx on this album. will play it out this weekend and see what happens :)
must say Klassic & Sanders seem to be the best producers on Future Sound at the moment. i really do think the Trance Generators are loosing it...
Trance Generators do pop up with the odd Top tune that wud buy on vinyl![]()

UNDERGROUND SOUND
Baptist is best on FSC at the mo im still getting over the shock of how amazing time machine is!!!
The album is a little disappointing theres only so much you can do with 4 original tracks of 20 kick drums in a different order with a time delayed crash and bass and vocal sample. (Still some of their tunes are wicked) The remixes are wicked tho especially the Analogic Disturbance + Klasic and Sanders ones !
I personally dont think I could produce better than them though!!!! So to call them poor is uncalled for corbz.
Thats my 2p worth anyway.

Everybody is in the place....! letz go...
im suprised no one has mentioned the analogic disturbance rmx of 'u cant stop us'. not heard it myself yet, but analogic disturbance has 'rocked my box' as they say. achtung mofo's!!!!

cant say i have heard the album yet sorry obviously a bit behind the times but i honestly like the trance generators sound ok most of the tracks sound the same but i think they get a fairly solid reaction on a dance floor and i wudnt rite them out as mindless hardstyle
