    Got Microtonic but I want to be able to put my own sounds.

    understandable. but you can make just about any type of your OWN percussion in the tonic. that's what the knobs are there for :)

    I believe it's buggier than the new version, but it does have the Reason-style GUI :)
    The truth is that they're both not easy on the CPU, personally i would stick with a sampler + piano roll.
